Had 4 days at Gum Bend beating off the mossies night and day - then decided to go to the caravan park for a week - only $150. What a difference it makes after so much camping. Loving being able to splash  water around, plug everything in to the power points to charge, TV every night etc.... Have even spent hours giving the caravan a really good clean inside and out. Something to be said for stopping in one place for a week. Patti is here also so enjoying the company:) We havent walked over the bridge to town yet - the days seem to pass so quickly but will go see the utes in the paddock, and have a meal at a pub while here.
