Many, many moons ago, I worked for a Fire Protection company - on the back wall beside the fire exit door was a sign -

"In case of fire please leave via the new rear fire escape stairs that will be erected immediately after this fire". biggrin

I was at a caravan park somewhere in SA, The fire hose reel set centrally about the caravaners had a notice on it "Not to be used under any circumstances".
