Yes I cooked - not reheated - my dinner in it. Tonight I cooked Banana Pancakes in it (an easy recipe with only 2 ingredients) and for lunch I heated up Little Boys. One of my favourites is Roast Chook with Potato, Carrot, Pumpkin, Peas and Gravy. As up until now I have been a tent camper (now in my van), I have often used this to cook meals while in the car travelling so that by the time the tent was set up, dinner was already done. Now I use it in my van. Breakfast porridge, Bread and Butter Pudding, Italian Chook Casserole, Curried Sausages -- I just keep inventing meals and experimenting with it.
It heats to 150* C and cooks more like a slow cooker as steam is held inside the stove/cooker/oven. Because of this, food cooked in it won't brown so sometimes I brown food in a fry pan first if needed.
NB. The ONLY FULL SIZED cooker/stove which holds a whole Chook and veggies is the DICK SMITH brand. I bought mine from a DICK Smith shop but I can't remember the price. The Dick Smith brand has a high domed lid as deep as the base. I found other brands are shallow and won't be as versatile.

Try these in your oven Panther;
Potato bites - Mix 300g grated potatoes, 3 eggs,... 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 finely chopped onion (optional), 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste in a bowl and spoon into a muffin tray, bake on 180'C for about 25 minutes.

Unbelievable $$$ $pecial price. You can't go wrong paying that!
No recipe book nor instructions came with mine, I am a (retired) chef by trade so I like to be challenged and enjoy inventing /modifying recipes. A good place to start is with slow cooker recipes as it is like cooking in a pot on a low heat with a tight lid on. The heat and steam slowly build up inside to moist cook/steam things SLOWLY in their own juices. I use 2 oven bags, one inside the other to prevent holes and for strength and put my ingredients inside. Those little tin foil dishes
also fit.
WEEVIL:- It is far too little for muffin tins. Your yummy recipe wouldn't brown or crisp up - heat is too low and too steamy so I'd save that for a real oven.
Maybe I could post some recipes on the "What's Cooking" part of the forum. I wonder if anyone else has one of these cookers?
Even if you have no electricity and no gas, but have 12volt power available you can still cook something and that's what I like. I also have a 12v kettle.

Panther, if you see this, the little boys also go well in spring vegetable soup i.e. a tin of spring vegie soup, toss in the boys (large or small) cook as per normal, and it is surprisingly good and filling. Give it a try.

No way you'd get a whole chook in it, let alone with veges too.

Without the cheese and with or without onion then cooked in a frypan or on a BBQ and served with lemon juice (or shredded cheese), we call it mock fish or mock whitebait. Got to squeeze the liquid out of the grated potato. Must try the above though.

I didn't know they made a half sized one either and I have bought 2 from them over the years and both have been the full sized ones. I just assumed that the DS brand was the original full sized one. It was only recently that when I went to buy my second one and I purchased it from a camping store, got it home and opened it up only to discover it was small. Before that I didn't know it came in that size. I returned it and went to a DS store and purchased the full sized one.

Not your fault Panther, so don't feel bad please. Glad you posted this though. I was starting to wonder if I'd only imagined a bigger one. Yeppoon DS don't know about the bigger one. Was going to go in to DS Rocky today, and see if they had one, but didn't feel up to it.
If you have one of the Originals, could you take a Pic. and post it for me, so I can take it and show them ?
keep that to yourself though.
