Starting out

I am a Brisbane newbie to this forum and have quietly watched all the advice put out there by the experienced nomads. Much appreciated.

It is now time to "suck it and see". I will start off with some small trips, the first up to Gladstone and then back down inland visiting a few places mentioned by others eg Wuruma Dam. Plus catching up with friends.

My comms I still have not worked out properly...keeps giving me a headache so I put it off ....and off. No doubt it will all fall into place at some stage.

Hope to meet some of you along the way.

Good luck and have fun. I've been having small trips for just on a year now and love it. I found it amazing what I've thrown out of the van that I thought I couldn't lie without. Like you I've searched the forums and taken much advice on board but still have much to learn.
