newbie trial run

We are heading off tomorrow for the weekend to try our camper trailer/solar panels and other stuff. Going to Lake Narracan. Taking the dog as well to see how he goes camping. Very excited.

Welcome to the gang Rainy, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I sure hope the weather gods don't see your name when you arrive at the lake.

Have a great trip and enjoy your time away and testing everything out.

We had a terrific time and many laugh. Lake Narracan is lovely and you could free camp in some nice spots. We camped at caravan park. Took more time to put up dog,s fence than the camper, Nearly put up camper without the legs luckily before it tipped over. Could not get stove to work so neighbor camper gave us a cuppa until we went to the shops the next day and bought an electric one.Was going to make spaghetti bolonaise to realise that I had also left the pot home. Can,t wait to go again eve the dog loved the water and was really behaved.

Did not rain till last night and had put verandah up. During the night, hubby realised the two extra poles left over were for the roof to stretch the canvas as both sides filled up with water like a pool. Good fun!

Good on ya rainy,

Looks like you've got a great attitude, have a go, and have some fun doing it wink.
