Corp Store has had a donation box for some time. It is the proprietor who slashes the grass. Nice people poorly supported.
oh really, called in there last Sunday for coffee and paper when leaving the lake which we talked about. She didn't mention it at all. Will drop a donation in on my next trip.
Well that what happens when I was working out of Camps 4 , I have noticed some place we have used are not in the book like a great free camp with power at Cracow between Theodore and Eidsvold in Queensland
Goodie thanks for that we need to spread the news re Donation Box , Stayed at a free camp at Duaringa West of Rockhampton about 30 caravan and motorhome we were late leaving and went to the shop were you make a donation when we did I ask do many make a donation and the lady said we were the second to do so made me feel sad .

Don't forget that the place that's been used by Nomads for the last few years as a meet-up place is called Greens Lake. Not too far away, there is another place called Green Lake.
To those that frequent GreenS Lake, can we please have some clarification about donations.
Ive not been there yet, but will be in a few months. I understood this was owned by the water supply company and they maintained the property. If that is the case, I assume they don't look for donations, so maybe its Green Lake (couldn't they have called if a different colour to stop this confusion lol) that donations are required for

It is OUR Greens Lake near Corop - this is from Camps 7 - so it has been "donations requested" for at least two years.
A quick look on Google Maps will show the spelling is Greens. It's easy enough to check things, just put the given co-ordinates into Google Maps and it comes up instantly you hit the go button. You will also note Corop on that map.
I note that there a Few poking the brown stuff at the publication. However how many of you who use the place have reported the error to Phil. If you want the publication to be super accurate then it's up to us to assist in the corrections. Don't just join the regular wingers, do something about it.
Green lake also comes up as a rest area at CAW 7 Vic464. Probably worth pointing out to Phil when you report the Greens Lake error.
Another Greens in Vic is Greens Campground CAW 7 Vic235.

Gday...
Who's "poking the brown stuff at the publication" Peter ?
Some use Camps, some don't, some use it in conjunction with other 'resources' some don't. Some use it as their "bible" and use nothing else and love it. Some have simply been stating their opinion and what they use.
I think rather than "poking the brown stuff at the publication" as you suggest, it is simply being aired that "the publication" states that "donations are requested".
Marj (Happywanderer) has already suggested she will ask at the store when she passes by soon.
Perhaps the publication is mistaken. However, before we run off and tell "Phil" (don't ya just love name droppers? ) he is wrong, let's confirm what are the facts.
Sorry to have got up ya nose mate - life's like that.
[edit: anyway, this is what I said on the Greens Lake sub-forum regarding this -
"Gday...
It has only just come to notice that there has been a "request for donations" for camping at Greens Lake.
I guess, as none of us refer to Camps Australia book any more regarding Greens Lake - as it is OUR 'home' - we have just never noticed. "
Again, not "poking the brown stuff at the publication" - just spreading the info for comment/clarification/whatever.]
Cheers - John
