Yes. I am. Travelling North.

Having a great time  ,

Possibly stay here  3 nights then hop along the track a bit further

i have got the batteries full once again ,

I had them checked as well as the charger checked , all is working fine.

I charged the batteries using charger  to full but then put solar on all day to bring the batteries up to totally full.  .

So good is this sunshine  ay.

This town is very nice to visit

cheers from. GN Paul

Hi Paul,

Good to see that the battery situation is under control, which is the next proposed camping site?

Arrrr ..... Yeo John

good to read from you .

if you tell me yours I will tell you mine ..... Ha. Ha ha

i do know where you are off to . Just a joke.

Well after Narrandera  a few days. I went to   West Wyalong a few days then now , I am sorting out the campers here at  Griffiths . Not too much sorting as there is no GN here. A few backpackers.

yes the power supply (batteries) are sorted. so believe it or not  .... I am a happy camper

the sunrise here is not so spectacular

there is a three day free camp at the lake here.

Hi Paul,

pleased that the battery position has been resolved satisfactorily and you are a happy camper.

Expect to leave Greens on the 29th and drive the Hume and Pacific Highways direct to the Gold Coast.

CYA at Wuruma.

John

Sorry  everyone but I had to post this pic

It is how the steel rims were put onto the wooden wagon wheels  ,

The wooden wheels were made minus the rim ,

The rims were made minus the wheel .

The wheels were put onto this steel base ,about 1m. or a tad more in diameter

the base can be lifted up or down via the long handle .

When the wooden wheel is in place on the steel round plate ,the rim is heated

to the max temp  then placed over the wheel . The rim expands in size when heated very hot..now that the rim and wheel are on the steel plate and secure ,

The wheel is lowered into a large concrete tub of cold water,

The rim contracts  because of the cold water

20150119_141057.jpgthus the rim is very secure on to the wooden wheel .

Interesting about the wheel Paul - where are you now? We are at Ardlethan, NSW, cute little town with free camp right in town - and power at $2 per 12 hours!!!!
Toilets and bbqs.

See you at Wuruma?

Hi jules you are not too far away from Griffith

Steven , a guy with a brown dog is camped there where you are  ,he has a little van .

I will be pushing out of here Thursday  morning,  .been here four nights by then.

I did a drive to Darlington Point  then on to Witton then on to Leeton , about 3 hours spent  in Leeton and then it was time to head back .

Not sure how to fill in the day Wed. , might go to the pool again , not too bad on a hot day.

I am heading north  to the lake  on Thursday , that will be a 3 or 4 day stop over.

Cheers  from Paul
