Sitting by the water at Lake Bonney SA reading and watching the boats in the company of my eldest son Mike.
Been here a few days. Decided to stay a few more.
They don't even have to close the place down for NYE.
what I did yesterday I replaced the brakes on our a van a liner with new backing plates complete with linings and electric brakes
now I have new brakes happy with the job seeing I have never done anything like this before
Well done to you Chris K - amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it - we purchased a fan to put up near our bed in the motorhome - picked it up in WA from friends place in September, carried it with ever since. Earlier this week the "handyman" mounted it on the wall - yesterday he tried to get power to it - blew a fuse, off to the shops coz we couldn't find our spares.
On way back - says - think I will ask Chris (my son) to give me a hand - we had power within five minutes - fantastic, just in time for a very warm night and couple of days.
Oh, and welcome to the forum - haven't seen you on here before - enjoy, join in, do the Who is This in I Digress, or the Pick this Place in the General forum - great seeing places you've been or haven't been, and testing your memory with the people one.

spent the day with my eldest grandaughter. shopped till we dropped. She lives with her dad (our son) n We went bra shopping. Dad went n had a coffee With strop. They did not want to know about womens business. She also bought clothes for wearing at home n a good dress with shoes n hand bag. Can we find something to buy with dads money ? yes we can. Had a memorable great day. Lovely to have her all to myself.
Rocket - yes the curtains are for the MH - teal blue - I think they look lovely - the others were bland beige. I actually bought ready made from Spotlight on sale, and altered them to fit our windows, still got to do something with the pelmets.
I used to take my granddaughter shopping when she was young - loved it. Got the three eldest grandkids coming for the weekend - Josh (23) has just moved to Melbourne to live, from Brissy Kiera (20) is studying at TAFE, Bri (20) is unemployed, but looking!
Should be a mad weekend - they are crazy guys - love them all dearly.

Well we headed off to Canberra, to pick up a friend who is going to travel with us for a bit - from there to Yass, by the river, lovely free camp. OneK walk to shops, nice spot.
Friends MH has a power problem, so she headed back to Canberra to get that looked into, will catch up somewhere. Currently in Boonah showgrounds, for a week, MH service, fridge fix (fingers crossed) no gas coming through to it, but stove works ok. Breastscreen appointment = ouch!
Then heading to Boynedale Bush Camp for a meetup, then ...........................................somewhere!

Washing day here north of Mackay QLD. While farm sitting I have the pleasure of looking after some lovely animals.
Last night I had one jump on me when I was asleep. But it ran off before I could get to the light.
Moved into the farm house as the baby of the house is fretting for the owners.( Maltese Poodle). Glad the weather is lovely and enjoyed watching Jessica Mauboy singing this morning.
Hey Rocket, carefull the blood doesn't rush to ya head. You might need to flip them upside down in your file then post. It happens sometimes but don't know why. Forum Gremlins maybe?
