BUGGA.....ONE MORE SLEEP BUT.......

I have seen the new Chief and had the hand over. Just peeeeerfect. My choices in colours in and out have exceeded my expectations.

Why the bugga and one more sleep? Well someone fitted a fresh water tank making it 3 instead of 2 fresh water and 1 grey water. The drainage tap would no way drain so the dealer did his nut and is getting changed over first thing in the morning BUT......

....I get the great advantage of picking it up at Craigieburn North of Melbourne on the Hume hwy. Just happens to be clear of Melbourne traffic and only approx 2 hours from Greens Lake, how good is that.

The hand over was very detailed but very easy to understand, very professional and in the end I had very few questions. Nothing was rushed.

The Chief is still a Chief but now is known as a "Arrow". Due to the changes I made, made it more like a slightly shorter Arrow. Suits the van better cos there is a arrow under the word "Chief".

Watch this space for pics in a few days when I settle in a bit.

So in the end all good.

Great to hear Doug. One mistake is not really that bad. Don't let it spoil the moment Mate.

No way Paul.

I must admit by the end of the day I was very stressed but I think was more standing around in the heat, the minor hiccup and bloody Melbourne traffic.

I forgot to mention that the dealer has put me up in a Motel down the road at his expense so all good really.

I will be glad to be in my new Den tomorrow night though. Already put some goodies in the fridge getting cold.

Luxury RV's in Croydon Melbourne have been fantastic really. The staff a friendly happy people, well until my wrong tank was discovered. They are professional and experts in their field in every way, nothing has been a bother to any of them even though I was probably a bother. I can't recommend them enough. Thankyou heaps Matt and Jo.

Oh! thanks heaps to "Plendo" as well, cos without David taking me there I might have never know about the Chief.
