Don't press the yellow button on the toilet cassette

Ok take two, posted it somewhere else, Juscampin told me the yellow button is for the suction to help empty the cassette, NOT TRUE!!!! I did it, crap literally came out of the back, ran down my leg, into my thong and under my toes.,,, IS IT APRIL FOOLS DAY !!!

must admit after I cleaned myself up I did have a giggle, ok what did I do wrong ????

Gday...

Is the "yellow button" you had been advised to press when emptying the cassette the one circled in red in this pic ?

Cassette.jpg

If so, then it IS for releasing the 'pressure' when emptying - and allowing air to enter the cassette at the top to allow the contents to flow more smoothly out of the cassette.

When you want to empty the cassette, remove the yellow lid (blue circle), straighten the neck, press the yellow button (red circle) and then put the neck into the hole in the dump point and it all should flow out quickly and easily.

Not sure why it seemed to "explode the contents" for you cry

cheers - John

Well that is news to me Rocky. I will try it next time, never even thought of pressing that button. Figured it was there to make it all look pretty. Must admit it is sometimes not easy to get rid of the last little bits of paper, so that may be the answer.

Fran, what a mess, my goodness that really would be enough to putting one of camping forever.

Fran yup, I get lost quite often and do the amazingly silly things, but it keeps those who want to listen entertained.

Hey as long as we can laugh at ourselves and keep having fun, all will be good. Like yesterday, my setup was not really how it would normally go, out of routine I think. Well my excuse. Finally got all done and it was hot, I was hot and bothered so decided to turn the a/c on, only to find it did not work. Bugger! Realised then that after all that I had not plugged into power!!!!!!!! Usually the first thing I do.

Just one of those days.

John Denver has a song called some days are diamonds, some days are stones, well my set up yesterday was a pebble. All good in the end.
