Yep

Just noticed I've got a few grey ones so thought it was time to join up, g'day to all, getting to that stage of life when we are thinking about life on the road, had a Jayco Swan for over 20 years, the kids have had a ball in it, more than 20 Easter Murray river trips plus 2 x Darwin & 1 X WA trip & countless other adventures as a family, kids are all grown up, time to upgrade to a full size van me thinks, the old Swan is still in great nick having been garaged all its life. We have been looking at Safari & Kokoda vans, what are peoples opinions on those or any other brand, tow vehicle at this stage (& probably for a while) is 2008 TD Prado so about 2000 kgs will pull us up allowing 500kg for loading, looking forward to being part of this forum, thanks in advance, regards Quanger.

How,

Welcome to the gang, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Everyone will have there personal favourite in their Den. Me, I researched and looked all different vans including the ones you mention. Went to check a Retreat and ordered a "Chief" Feather, instead, with a few additives and changes to suit me.

Enjoy the fun in looking at vans.

Big thanks for the welcomes, look forward to being a part of the joint, the choice of van is not going to be made in a hurry but I might start a thread & keep my thoughts updated on it as we go through the process of checking them out & crossing them off, any input would be welcomed if it's constructive.

Welcome from us too. Like you, once the kids were gone (10' York and 5 kids) the van was no longer big enough for us. Hahaha. Not sure how that works.

Well after visiting a few dealers in Geelong & the Ballarat caravan show on the weekend we have a new contender, Supreme classic comes in at the right sort of weight, equipment & price tag, any comments, good or bad appreciated.
