Hi, all thanks for all the great encouragement, today left Iron Knob, where I had free camped last night, there was a dump spot, and water, a nice big camp spot.
This morning I set off to Ceduna, I shed a tear or three, that was one of the places my Sam wanted to get to before he passed, it wasn't to be.
Then I was going to stay at Penong, but decided to go on into Yalata, boy am I glad I did, the old road house has let me stay for free in powered site, couldn't believe my luck, there is two other vans here. So I'm able to charge my tablet and get more water. The ppl nxt to me had a lovely fire going and we chatted for awhile.
WOW Great to hear Fran, Always an emotional trip is a worthwhile one too. Just hope you're enjoying it too as it sounds like you are and meeting lovely people is always a nice way to make a trip more memorable Glad to hear from you, Sounds like you're trekking it big time
Will you be heading through the Nullarbor? Somewhere i've always wanted to go to.

Yalata, the people there are great, there is a police station and a clinic around the back of the garage (garage not open) I was flown from there (RFDS) when I was taken ill along the Nulla, the manager of the clinic stored our tug and van in his yard, we were treated like royalty.
