Hi Mezzie - you need to come over West, here at Cleaverville Beach, just near Karratha there are the most amazing rocks I have ever seen in one place - will put up a (not very good) picture for you to drool over, and tempt you!!DSC01723.JPGDSC01721.JPG

Bronnie - there are millions of them on the beach - could pick up a bucketful every day I reckon!!! My picture isn't very good, but you get the idea - there is one in there somewhere that looks like it has been painted - amazing!!! Some big shells on the beach, as well, but mostly damaged by the tides etc.

OMG!!!  that's all i can say..... I was in Darwin drove to Broome and back again in a camper van with daughter and 2 of her friends.  I just spent most of my time looking and taking photos of the rocks, I just love them all.  On way back to darwin stopped at Zebra rock mine just near Lake Argyle..sort of.. lol  They have some out of this world rocks and I was in heaven...but my travelling companions were in a hurry blankstare so I couldn't soak it all in, in such a short time.  Since that trip in May I cannot forget the beauty in this area, so many things to see, so little time....So i decided im going as soon as I get my vehicle/camper tray (lots of things to research) I just wanna get out of vic and see Australia at MY pace.  Hoping for April ish 2015.

Beautiful rocks.. thank you

mezzie
