We purchased a new Jayco Sterling 24ft van in Nov' & we were given the take-over spiel but we weren't told how to transfer TV volume through radio to the van speakers, does anyone have any idea?
TV is a 'Sphere' & the radio is a you-beaut-does-everything-except-talk-to-you Pioneer, a bit technical for us but would appreciate any kind of advice.
It depends on the inputs on the Radio (a 3.5mm MP3 input would do the trick). You will also have a similar 3.5mm socket (probably on the side of the TV and marked headphone. Then all you need is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo lead of the appropriate length
Your TV probably has at least one HDMI socket but it is unlikely the radio would have HDMI. HDMI leads are pretty cheap these days.
Another alternative is to get an FM transmitter, plug it into the TV headphone socket and a 12V source and tune your radio till you pick up the signal. This will get you out of trouble if the radio does not have an MP3 input If you decide to go this way, try to avoid the really cheap models.
The first solution is cheaper, better quality and more reliable.
Good luck.

Our 24" Jayco has a switch that adds the sound to a couple of external speakers.
If the neighbours get rowdy I could turn the volume up. lol
The official answer will be that there is no connection between TV and radio speakers. There would have to be a wire joining the two, and there isn't.
However, we don't always accept the official line when we have a situation we're not satisfied with.
The two suggestions above from in transit and Aus-Kiwi may get you headed in the right direction. You may need to experiment with cables to find something that works. You probably already have.
If you need volume that you just can't get from the TV speakers, you may have to purchase a set of external speakers like we attach to computers. A bit cumbersome I admit, but not expensive.
I have exactly the same setup as you in my Sterling, and I've looked at it, but sorry, I can't see a better solution for you.
More info needed here I think. What outputs are there on the back (or front) of the TV?
What inputs do you have on the back (or front) of the audio unit?
We have a Kogan TV I have sound through van speakers. Lots of work to get it done. I had to pull the TV apart put in 2 RCA plugs on back of TV cabinet wired into the TV's internal speakers. ran the cable across the van to the stereo head unit. this side of the RCA cables were striped and directly wired into the back of the van stereo head unit.
Like I said lots of work for me & not for the faint hearted.
