Maybe someone can enlighten me as to the wisdom, imtelligence, humour, or anything else that I may be missing in this, what appears to be, totally inane and poorly conceived thread.

I don't mind a joke that's a bit spicy as long as it is clever, or at least funny.

This one fits none of those criteria and is simply vulgar and crude for the sake of it.

Hi Vic41. I edited it because I do not want to offend anyone on the forum. When I saw Brian's strong reaction I thought maybe I should have been more sensitive. I did mask the 'offensive' word as Cowboy7307 has done but I thought I may have overstepped the the boundaries and so edited the entry.

No worries Mike, I understood why you did, but until I did thought I was a bit dense as I didn't get it not realising it had been edited.

Some of the ones I get I don't post or change the offensive words for others that are not, best to be aware that some jokes are offensive to others and the fairer sex are on here too.

Racist, religious and political comments or jokes are banned here too.

I thought it was a good play on words ,but i see we are all going to lift out standards to only tell little Jonny jokes,
seems to be the only jokes or buns some people on this site understand

For your education only, here is the Cambridge Dictionary's interpretation of a play on words:-

humorous use of a word with more than one meaning or that sounds like another word:The name of the shop - 'Strata Various' - is a play on words, because it sounds like 'Stradivarius', the famous violin maker.

Perhaps you could explain where your post complies with that meaning.

There is a vast distinction between a risque joke and just plain gutter talk, it's time you learned the difference, if not for your own benefit, then for those of us who do have values.

I am with you Cowboy. For the life of me I cannot understand how he has an issue with this and yet did not have an issue with a joke that was a play on words with a far more offensive word (in my opinion)

I will also stop my comments at this... Afterall, this is supposed to be fun part of the forum....
