Embarking in the big adventure

it's been a long-held dream for Martin and me to spend a few months on the road instead of a week or 10 days - and in April, this becomes a reality.  We have a Nissan 3L turbo (not the best choice but what we could afford) and a 13ft Jayco Freedom pop-top caravan which we love!  Heading off from Perth, first stop Kalgoorlie, Lake Ballard then across to Geraldton and up north from there, round the top, down the middle and then up the east coast (but open the various options!).  Feeling a little nervous but very excited!

Can anybody help with a question on security? Somebody suggested a small fire resistant safe would be a necessity on the road.  Is it? And if so, where do you get them? Maybe I should just Google it ...
