I can still access that page.

It refers to the 1996 Ig Nobel public health prize for a study entitled "Transmission of Gonorrhea Through an Inflatable Doll".

I pulled into a road side stop once in North WA, there was a blow up doll fully inflated propped up against a bush, appeared to be in new condition, however it's "internal parts" had been pulled outwards, obviously it had been washed and was put there to dry.

I assume the owner (truckie?) had driven off later and forgot it was there......my partner at the time took photo's of me with my arm around the doll but I don't have a copy.   We left the doll where it was.
