Leaving Greens Lake for a Motor bike Ride in the Snowys,

After a couple of days meeting the very fine people at Greens,  And seeing another Grand Villa in the flesh,

I left for a five day bike ride thru the Snowys,

You think it was windy at greens, Hahahahaaha

We went over Mt Hotham on Monday night, Near the top, we got caught in a Blizzard, Snow, Extremely high winds, Near blowing us off the road,

Snowing, Could not see the road, Glad they had yellow lines, Kept us on the road, Two bikes didnt make it, Had to be flatbedded over the top,

I stopped once and nearly didnt get going again, I had no idea on where I was, I was so relieved to go thru the tunnel into Hotham,

I stopped in Mt Hotham to put surgical gloves on, Under my ski gloves, Thought I might stop and warm up, But if I did that, I would not get off the Mountain, So had to keep going, Freezing to death is not on the cards,

This time of year, Its 25 C in Melbourne, 30 C in NSW,  Snow is extremely rare this time of year,

3000 kays in a week, Great ride,

My left hand is still numb, Touch of frostbite I think,

Was that last Monday evening, A car and Caravan pulled over to let us pass, But I think they went on to Omeo, As they didnt turn around up there,

Very pleased they did, as the visibility for us was near Zero,

any one recognize the Caravan in the piccy,

Yep, Self inflicted, I will do it now, I have a use by date listed now, Get as much fun in while I still can,

Its better than sitting in front of a TV waiting to Die,

Use it or Lose it, Its your choice,

I also snow ski, I go up to ski in shorts and T shirt in my car, Then change into my ski gear up there,

Niseko in Japan is Minus 30 Celcius at 12 Noon, So I do know what cold is,

I almost became a Popsicle in Japan, But thats another story, Hahahaha

I have seen that Video before, there is a couple of them, They really tell the story,  I taught my Girlfriend to ride a motor bike when she was 61, your never too old to start any thing, You just need to get off your Clacker and do it, Hahahaha,

The hand is still numb, Looks like a doctors visit, I dont take any medication for any thing, The quack will be told bluntly, cure my hand or forget about it, I refuse to take pills for the rest of my life,

She always had her hands in my Leather Jacket pockets, 15,000 Kays on the back, 10,000 kays asleep, The hands in the pockets, stopped her from falling off the bike, She started leaning, Give her a shake and she would wake up and get back on the seat properly, She never fell off,

Pushies, In snow, Your Crazier than I am, I was up there in 2008 at the same time, The storms up there are not predictable, Its clear weather and ten minutes later you have a white out, and in the middle of a Blizzard,

The Coach is on the road and going like the clappers, The electrics are still not working,

But Keith is going to bring his Grand Villa down here, Spend a few days in my free park, We can work on both, I will get his gas tank out, and I can look at his electrics to find out what I am missing in mine, Win Win, For both of us,

Grey Nomads Forum, What a blast, meeting nice new people and all extremely helpfull, Top stuff,
