Funny how photos do the rounds of the internet. I took that pic of the cab driver a few years ago when I was in Sydney. Here it is posted on Red Bubble. Scroll down and click on 'description' to read the story behind the pic.
I don't understand all that Muslim rivalry, Vic, but yes he was a most pleasant person and a good cabbie. He knew the city as well as anyone. It's interesting that when I first saw him behind the wheel I made an assumption about his character based on popular misconception. But I soon discovered that he was well educated, charming, articulate and most generous. He was very proud of his beard, too. A lot of grooming and care has gone into that masterpiece hehe.
That's cool, Billeeeeeee. I often post pics on my blog as a form of publicity, knowing they will end up on Google searches. Once you post something in cyber space, that's it, the bird has flown. So it doesn't faze me at all. The way I see it, if you're not willing to share, don't post.
.......Greetings Nomads, even our great inspirational (Spiritual) leader makes time for reflection in his long days on planet Beautiful.....................Billeeeeeee
I think he is using his mental powers to summons his maidens.
I have not seen any photos of the young back packers. I hope he is leaving the local girls to us other poor buggers who have no one to do our bidding LOL.
Either that or he has been exhausted with the days activities.
Regards
Brian

No backpackers around here, so the coast is clear for all you lesser minions!!!!!!
Of course that could change when picking season starts - who knows they may want to rally up here, when they hear the mighty Yeoeleven is in residence!

Brian,
A keyboard coffee warning would be appreciated next time.
Fortunately John is blessed with sense of humour as well.
Hey Jules, what's this "Sad Town" stuff ? There are many backpackers propping the night in down town Wonthaggi. I must ask them if they know John and give them a copy of a pic of his new wheels.

When we were kids we used to go there to visit aunty and uncle - it seems it always rained, and the town was very grey looking!!!!!!! Hence the "sad town" name!!!

Yep, sure looks like the usual gatherings that Greens is known for 333 and I tell you that for free.
I also noticed in the pic that lovely dog is a very naughty dog as well.......had his/her own bottle of wine, probably fast asleep by now as the bottle looked empty.
I will be there in a couple of weeks at this stage.
