Actually, all embryos start out female, which is why blokes have nipples. It's not until some weeks into pregnancy that some embryos take on male characteristics. So I'm afraid Eve came first.

 I don't know where you got that from Gary, perhaps from the train of thought that all babies are basically the same at birth except the penis falls off the clever ones.
