Good campspots in NSW

Hi fellow travellers. I'm heading up the NSW coast from Victoria in November. Have been up there a few times but can always enjoy a new spot. I am looking for some advice on top spots to spend a week or two just staying very still and chillaxing. Love being near water. Coast and Blue Mountains are of interest. Any suggestions?

If you do choose to travel anywhere near Bathurst, you'll find Macquarie Woods which is situated about halfway between Bathust and Orange .. Great little spot managed by the Forestry NSW for free-camping.

Do a search above for Macquarie Woods .. will see some pics I posted a whileback ..

happy travels !

Jon

Thanks for that Jon. I checked the photos. Looks lovely. That's quite a rig you've got. Makes my little Tardis look like a garden shed. :)

Go to the "free/low cost campsites" on the general forum page - heaps of places there, and you can always open your Camps Australia Wide book, pick a spot and do a search on it through the above, see who has been there and their thoughts.
Enjoy!

Thanks Jules. Good advice. I didn't realise there was such a page on the forum. Should open my eyes and look around first. Excellent suggestion to check the Camps Book and then see who's been there and what they thought. I'm on to it. Cheers, V

What a good idea Julies, I didn't think of that.  We are on holidays from 17th Aug, so will be asking people some good places to go for a couple of weeks.

Cheers!

Chris
