raining on the river

Hello;   Is raining today here on the river.   Yesterday I walked thru an area that has been fenced and re-planted with shrubs.   Great to see coucils doing this.

There are several permanent camps here along this stretch.

two pairs of socks to keep the tootsies warm and doing some spinning to pass the day........bit reatless cos I can't get my walk in.   Some sniffles at present or I would rug up and walk anyway.

I guess rainy weather is the hard thing about living in a small space. At least the overnight temps are usually higher in rain. Stay warm.

Dawa, if you need a temporary repair in situ, try some vaseline or clean grease.   It will stop leaks but will melt on a hot day.  Don't forget to clean it off with a little turps when doing a permanent repair. For what it's worth.

Dawa, keep posting, I love hearing about your adventures and how you are handling it all. So want to get out there amongst it myself. Seems that I might be here for alittle while longer. Mt Gambier and the house selling business are not going hand in hand at present. Still hopeful something will happen soon. House still under contract, however that is up on Friday, and the people have not sold theirs as yet. Fingers crossed.

Sharon.
