Aw Gee, thanks everybody.  Now I feel all warm and fuzzy.  Looks like "Aunty Winnie" it is.  I do have photos of the inside, so will post them shortly.  Just wanted to get on and say thanks very much to all of you for such a warm welcome.

Cheers!

Chris

Am attaching images of inside of "Aunty Winnie".  Don't know how it will turn out as I can't seem to get a preview.  Forgive me if I have stuffed it up.

Cheers!

Chris

Welcome, Chris.
Here is a hint to help you manage driving your big girl: get a friend with a long tape to help you measure the vehicle's height at the highest point. Write this on a bit of card and stick it behind your sun visor - or somewhere equally accessible. One day, you will come to a sign that reads something like "Low bridge ahead. Clearance 2.9metres."
Take it from my experience - it is better to know your height in advance!

Thanks for that Wendyy.  The Winnie is an ex hire and has a big sign on the dashboard saying "Vehicle Height 3.5 metres"  I must admit low bridges scare the heck out of me, the last thing I need is a Winnie convertable.

Cheers!

Chris

Thanks Pam, when all the modifications are finished she will be a pretty good unit.  We are setting her up for independent camping so I don't have to stay in caravan parks. You just can't afford to do that on a pension.

Cheers!

Chris

Unfortunately, won't make it to Gympie, still work to be done before she is ready for the road.

Cheers!
