To the person who claims this caravan park, and showgrounds is not a very nice place. I do not agree with you. Yes, there were tents in the grounds when there was no where else for some flood victims to go. I do feel this is a very nice and friendly. Highly recommended with price and friendly.
As this person has posted only 4 times without even introducing themselves yet & all 4 posts are plugging Pomona Showground & CP me thinks they may have a personal interest in it.

Warning to all travellers. Do not go near Pomona Showgrounds. They are disorganised and the caretakers are like something out of 'Deliverence'. George in particular is well known for being in the face of travellers trying to earn himself a little bit of cash on the side manipulating reciepts by altering the dates of stay. Be careful of the amount of discord between the caretakers and management that you don't foot the bill. The noise of dogs can be quite deafening and unfortunately you can't complain because it's the cartakers dogs making the racket. To top the list of dissapointments the showgrounds look like a tent city with the underprivileged piled in.
So if you want to rip off or be ripped off Pomona showgrounds is a good stay, don't forget your shots!

As far as I am aware, I am the only person here who posts as Travel Bug....and I assure you that I HAVE NEVER posted anything about Pomona Showgrounds.
Maybe you were "just dreaming"....or perhaps Hylda&Jon are right.
