All moving ahead

OK First open inspection on home out of the way, 3 interested prospects. Only 2 weeks of work left. Gave the MH its first outing on Sat,spent the night at free camo in Mannum, only overnighter but met a couple of friendly travlers there. It's all looking good for me, should be able to hit the road in May as planed, can't wait to get going biggrin

Well done Peter. All good thoughts, for the sale of the house, and heading out there into the wild blue yonder. Glad that your first night out went well.

Happy travels.
Sharon.

Wonderful Peter you must be feeling so good. I've had a couple of serious offers on my place as well so all my ducks are lining up, whatever that means. It must have felt great to be on your first night and meeting up with other travellers. Mine was in a CP and I asked a bloke to help me with my very stiff poptop and he ended up cooking me a beautiful roast lamb complete with some excellent wine and port. Not bad for a first effort I thought.

Elle...congratulations to you too!!!

Seems like it's all starting to come together now...and what a great result for your first effort.

I hope I meet a good samaritan like yours until I get used to rolling out my awning by myself. I don't have enough room to practice at home...so I will have to make a dill of myself in public. biggrin

Hope to catch up sometime.

Cheers. Pam.

Gee the real estate is going off all over the place.
It's a very emotional decision to sell up to move on.
I hope it all works out like you need it to. Good luck.

Thanks Pam

I've stayed in Caravan parks so far because of work commitments etc and have always found them very friendly. Can't wait to experience free camping however. On this first trip I will take a very circuitous route to maitland NSW which will be by no means influenced by all the cakes, pavlovas and gourmet brekkies on offer around SA and Vic. After I get some stuff sorted out there I will be taking off again but with no clear itinerary .... possibly north depending on the weather and season. Hope to meet you on the road as well.
