Does anybody know what the go is with the hike in gas prices today? A few weeks ago I noticed that all the stations were the same price, this week they are still all the same price just a lot higher???
I havent heard the news so dont know if this is a carbon tax thing or what the heck is going on.
It was on the news, they are blaming the heavy cold snap in Europe and the enormous increase in demand over there for LPG and this is affecting the price here, all due to the increased demand.
(that's their story anyway)

I believe there is a two and a half % 'surcharge' applied by the Federal Govt on all automotive LPG - applied 6 monthly. First one was 01 Dec 2011 and the next rise will be 01 Jun 2012.
