After having dug to a depth of 3.3 metres last year, British Scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 200 years. They came to the conclusion that british ancestors had a telephone network more than 150 years ago.
Not to be outdone by the Brits an american archaeologist dug to a depth of 6 metres. New York Times reported that traces of 250 year old copper wire had been found and that as a result, the americans had an advanced high-tech telephone network 50 years earlier than the Brits.
One week later the NT Times reported that " after digging as deep as 10 metres in his backyard Billi Bunji of Tennant Creek had found absolutley f%c* all
Billi therefore concluded that 300 years ago Australia had already gone wireless.
Makes ya feel proud to be Australian.
