How exciting! It's always an exciting time choosing the rig, packing the rig and setting out for that shake down. Good luck with that.

It's surprising how much we don't need in our life's space. There are the family treasures to keep, but to condense one's life into a small space is a big job.
It's really not that hard once you start. Decluttering is really very therapeutic.
If you're looking for dolphins you can see them in Port Adelaide and there's a cruise. There are more at Bunbury WA, and sometimes they are at Monkey Mia, usually at the morning feeding, but not always at the other feeding sessions.
Happy travels.

CG youwere so right I am amazed at just how little you realy need ...

I just came to the point of saying if I dont need it its out and after doing that several times

it was so easy....the portable chess set still remained though ..the shake down is scheduled for the last week in Aug. and I'm excited and eager now.

will see you out there some time

Cheers

Hi Michael,
Have just done the same thing. Great feeling. Garage sale over and hugely successful, now have two rooms closed off...... Obviously didnt need all that stuff. Still sorting the van and hope to have the rest stored and head to new south slowly up the coast n catch up with old friends n family on the way to my daughter n help with children for a few weeks while she has new bub. Then who knows where!!! I will head to a few music festivals as I really enjoy the smaller ones. Like you I really enjoy reading this forum and find it very helpful and most interesting. Thank you everyone, safe travels.
Tess

Hi Nu one, Know just how you feel. My troubles started in Yarrawonga. Still with me. Hooray for total care! Its a bit of a worry sitting out in front of the dealership wondering if they can fix it. Just keep on their backs and make sure they actually find the problem and not just replace parts in the hope. Have a nice time in Albury and try not to worry too much. All the best tomorrow.

Hi there Michael ..

.. and a belated 'welcome' to the group .. nothing I could say would vary from what others have said .. so enjoy the company !

If it makes you feel any better mate, although many might not respond to what might be a high priority to  you, there would be very few out there who do not have ongoing concerns about their 'transport' or individual safety at some stage ..

Positive persistance and support does well to eventually work through those niggly situations as I have found myself .. Believe me, after only 2 years on the road full-time, I too have had those difficult times, but once having worked through them, it just enhances my want to stay in this envelope of freedom, fauna & flora ..

.. and my progress report goes something like this .. currently in Sydney for a short time (I hope) .. then move slowly towards Tweed Heads and stopping a few places on the way .. then later, I intend heading down south to catch up with a few of you guys around the Echuca vicinity ..

Happy to catch up with anyone that falls near my pathway of travel .. so will try to keep up-to-date with my travel plans as they come to hand.

Tess .. I may not catch up with you later in Victoria due to your committments, but happy to 'coffee' if our paths cross ..

take care all

Jon (currently in Western Sydney, NSW)
