With time, women gain weight because we accumulate so much information and wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our bodies. So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy.

Since "She who must be obeyed" and I, signed into THE GREY NOMADS, we had little idea how helpfull all you kind people could be.
We have decided to abandon the trip from Perth to Darwin in Feb/Mar/April 2012. Cyclones and floods along with blocked roads, has put the good lady off. 40 years ago we would have been up that track like a rat up a drainpipe in search of adventure.
Wow..How maturity changes our outlook on life. How boring is that? I was still keen to do it, but, with feminine wisdom from the better half (stored wisdom, I believe from a recent message, brings bulk in which to store it. Am I correct? Or am I painting myself into a corner, or an early grave?). Both I think. However. Big is much smarter.
Instead we are heading for Melbourne and visit inlaws/outlaws and the zig-zag our way up to Cairns. Again by motorhome. Any info on firms in Victoria that rent out them out?
My apologies if I have jumped into someone elses arena here. But being a bloke who has been used to writing letters then this technology has yet to hit me in the assets.

If you're looking for your profile page just click on your title anywhere and you can work from there. If you're looking for the main page click on the heading of this section where it says "Grey Nomads Website" or Grey Nomads Forum" and fish around for a while. As forums and sites go, this format is relatively simple when you know how it works. A bit like rocket science or threading a needle. Easy when you know how. Good luck.
