Dougies Free Camp at Chinchilla

Are you a solo nomad wanting a break from travelling for a while & want a free camping spot without being hassled by councils or some other authoritarian individual hell-bent on making our nomadic lives difficult, then enquire or call in & look at the Chinchilla Free Camp as it may suit your needs.

Chinchilla is in the heart of the new Coal Seam Gas (CSG) industry, so there's work if you want it, or you can just relax for as long as you like with or without the company of others on 700 acres of Land for Wildlife.

The camp is NOT a caravan park or serviced facility & you need to be self sufficient, however tank water is available & there's plenty of fire-wood to collect for your own use.

Chinchilla now boasts a new Woolworths, Super IGA, Dominos Pizza & McDonalds & Kentucky are coming soon.

There are two modern hotels & a good RSL club where roast lunches are $6 for members week days.

If interested contact Dougie by PM or email: doug.w@harboursat.com.au. Good mobile coverage is available on the property through Telstra only.

I'm around the corner at Dalby, heading south tomorrow. I'm not on the wallaby, I'm getting back for more work.
The camp sounds great though. Have fun.

I would like to come over for a few days Dougie, just not sure which way I'm headed yet. Will make contact once I know what I'm doing.
