OMG I'd have to leave home. What did you do about him/her?

Nothing ChiChi. It was only [I think] a Black Whip Snake. Too long to be a Tree Snake I think. Here's another shot.

Cheers,
Sheba.

Campervan 083.jpg That result is the same. Just a red Cross.

Ok mate, did you upload that from your computer files or from Photobucket or some such site?

Did you press the button in the top toolbar with the tree on it? (Insert/edit image)

Colour is actually Black with Cream belly. With some snakes, the only way to be 100% sure of ID, is to kill them, and count Scales. I don't like killing them, unless absolutely necessary.

Cheers,
Sheba.

Welcome John,

Very interested to see the pictures of the diesel heater. It is on our 'Next Van' list. How do you find yours?

Hi Robyn & Ted

Heater works very well, quieter than I had expected, not had a chance to give it an extended run apart from testing for 3 hours.

Regards

John

Great looking van Chi Chi - just the sort I would have if I changed from a caravan to a motorhome.  Hope you can get out on the road soon.

Cheers, Helen

Hi John, welcome to the Forum  - looks like a great rig you have there.  I hope all the radiation therapy/chemotherapy works its magic touch and you can get away for a while.

Cheers, Helen

I need a van like Chi Chi's for the job, but I don't know if it would tow the van. The self-contained quarters with shower, toilet, fridge and kitchen is perfect, as long as it can push that sign along the road at a reasonable speed. Those big trucks catch up pretty quick if I don't go fast enough and keep well ahead.
A neighbour has an Iveco turbo-charged van for delivery work and the gear box let him down on the weekend as he towed his 20ft van.

That would be interesting CG. Its got plenty of get up & go. but.. towing another van? Don't know how serious you would look as a pilot vehicle though. Would it have the right image? Professional? lol

As you good people know my tug is called Popeye. My van is called Olive-1. Well now I'm the proud owner of the spear wheel cover for Olive-1.
