First time out.

Well, I've finally made my first trip, in the Toyota Hi-Ace.  Nanny-mon came along last Monday, and said "Let's go to Cairns tomorrow".   So, mad panic to get organised, and we left 7.am last Tuesday morning. 
Got to Cairns, met up with Cruising Granny for a coffee, then turned around the next day, to come back.  Got back 1.45.pm Sunday morning.
I've learned a lot.  We free-camped the whole way.  And I can't wait to get on the road again.

No problems of any kind, and we stayed 1 night at Road Rangers' block. Beautiful place. Can't understand why no one took him up on his offer.

The bloke accross the road rang me and said there were some naked women dancing around a fire on my block, would you like to explain this Xina?

He said he was not game to go over there and ask questions, I had to tell him it was all o.k. they are friends of mine and he had nothing to worry about.

But you two sure scared the crap out of him.

Don't know how we could have frightened him. I thought we were going to be raided by the fuzz at around 4 or 5 in the morning, but it was only their 2 vehicles coming home from what I assume was a night out. He's a noisy bugger, with his electric gizmos.

Really did feel like dancing skyclad, it was such a lovely place, but didn't want to freak out the neighbours too much, although if it had been even 10 years ago, they would have been racing across the road to join us Chris.
Hoped the possums would appear, but it might have been a bit damp for them.

G'Day all.

Since I have been stirring again about friends dancing on the block at Tully I have had some feed back on it through private messaging, so before it get's out of hand it will end here.

This was mean't to be a bit of fun, so new friends I have made on this site and have traveled to meet, could have a giggle, nothing more than that.

No nude dancing took place and no neighbors came into it.
I apologise if anyone was offended.
I will now pull my head in and desist from making any further comments on this site.
End of story.

Holy Moley, R-R !

Please do tell what it was that someone found objectionable.

I've read and re-read the postings and can find nothing that I would consider "out of order".

I have a strong dislike of the 'morality police' who like to tell all and sundry just how they should be conducting themselves.

As you say, nothing "naughty" took place and in any case it's not the business of anyone other than those directly involved.

There's been a bit of public debate on ladies breast-feeding their babies in public which has raised its ugly head again here in the West.
Some of the negative comments that have appeared on 'talkback' radio would have been wryly amusing if the antagonists hadn't been so deadly serious.
