Immediate escape from Sydney requested - any room in your van?

Hey guys

I have so enjoyed chatting to you all.  You are amazing.  But now it has made me feel like I cannot wait 1 or 2 years to be free.

Is there anyone out there that would like a travelling companion?  I am clean and tidy, a Nurse, so I can work anywhere en route to pay my way, a writer too, not a bad cook at making something out of nothing, a good driver, strong, and most of all good company and good fun and happy to muck in with all chores etc.

Take me out of the rat race of Sydney please............

Dirty old men, forget it he he :0)

Cheers guys

My first kiss to a female friend was to a girl (neighbour ) called Sylvia in a cornfield near where we lived in Devon, That was over 60 years, had a few since then,
But if its so urgent for you to move, And I understand completely, why not pack the car and move now, all you need is a change of knickers , a cooker of some sort , and a tent with sleeping bag, Total cost less that a 100 bucks, then shoot throught, off tto the bush young lady, you could stop off at the nearest pub and get a job, ,if not find a vacant paddock and doss down for the night, a quick wash down and try agian further out, eating at macs, or the local milkbar for a milkshake

Amen to that Dave.

I always copped flack from people telling me to settle down and plant some roots.

The longest time I spent in one place was the army for three years, and then I got more postings than I wanted, I've had a bloody fantastic life on the track, and there is still a lot more to come.
And we all agree.

Each to there own, Have a go, live and let live, Life. Get stuck right into it.

Sophie, I could be looking for a travelling companion later in the year. Want to go to WA and the Center. I am also a nurse. Prudence

Prudence

That sounds like a plan, tell me more?  At least we would feel a bit safer together.

The girls can write their own book Mike and Judy.
Sophie and Prudence, write your own versions, and at the end of the trip compare notes. I'd like to see that.
It's not so bad to be on your own out there. It's a personal choice but if you drive around the city on your own, the road outside the metro area is a piece of cake. No lights, no d/heads on grog and drugs. Even the truckies are pretty straight and responsible these days, and if need be, they'll look after to you. The odd cowboy, and I do mean odd, is still out there, but he seems to be in the minority these days.
Like Sophie says, "Be brave and live your life!".
"Don't be encumbered by history, just go out and do something wonderful," according to the poster in my van.
Safe and happy travels. Granny

Ye ha to that granny. You'd be surprised just how apt the advice is for single males as well.

Not that I am one But I might be if I travel logn time.
