Heard this on 774 am this morning - a dog story

A fella comes into his vet in tears holding his apparently dead dog and says "doc you gotta help me - I luv him dearly is there anything you can for him ?"

(by the way readers I am adlibbing this a bit)

The vet who can obviously see the dog is dear departed says "well ok bring him in here and put him on the table and I'll see what I can do.

He goes out the door and comes back with a mangy old tom cat and holds him above the poor old dog to no avail. nothing no reponse.

Next thing he's out the door and comes back with a black labrador which commences to sniff the poor old corpse from head to tail.

Still no reaction for the poor dear departed.

Vet says -I'm terribly sorry there's nothing more I can do for him.

To which the fella replies "thanks doc I guress I ll fix you up for the bill.

Fine says the vet

Thats $120 for the consultation

$150 for the catscan and $200 for the lab report.!

(Don't  ya luv it )
