OK..I'm back in this saddle by the computer.

Was hard getting back on here, as I had to get past the missus and daughter and then ply my way through all of there downloaded (womans) junk..err, sorry girls.

Once again I played the part of being a good samaritan by helping an elderly bloke who asked for help.
His old Commodore's clutch decided to have a rest and die at Frankston Vic.  So packed my tools and necessary tools (forgot the alignment spindle) and zoomed off in a flash...hmm..ok..a sedate speed that my old Suzuki can handle.  Drove overnight only to have to almost kick his caravan door in to wake them.  Had some brekky, donned the overalls..got too hot..back into the stubbies and T shirt and after much cursing their dog's wagging tail under the car and flicking sand in my face (recollections of my youth at the beach) I suceeded in finishing the task as rain water started to puddle around my prone position.
Wow, you guys missed out on all the fun I had !   Anyway, showered & scrubbed for dinner, some red wine..ok a couple of bottles and then I slept like a baby on the caravan floor and woke to find that furry friend sharing my sleeping bag...no wonder I had bad dreams.

Left a couple of thankful GM's to enjoy their travels and returned home 9.30pm.
Tired, but feeling good that I made someone smile & the memory of tender tears dwelling in their eyes as I left.
Now to get back into my trailer......
ashamed

Grizzly's post - is what this site is about - hope we all understand how much we depend on each other, when the proverbial hits the fan. And when called - "DO A GRIZZLY"

Hardly...ha ha ..a Grizzly sleeps in a cave..snores, scratches his back on a wall and hibernates most of the time. And wakes up when it's warm and looks for a feed...
Hmmm......Pt Pirie might be a good starting place.

Talking of helping people out Bob,

I had a lovely person hold my hand mentally just a few days ago when I really needed the support and I thank that person sincerely, so it is not just been there in the flesh Bob but the mobile text messenger helps also.

Many squisssshy hugs to that particular special person.

Good to have you back on here. Hope the trip was eventful. That person which helped you, I believe was from here.

They were doing a "Grizzly"

such a good fellow, but watch him, I am told he drinks your beer - but does it nicely, and likes to play cards.

I never said it was a he Bob, I said person, anyway he/she will be out of luck because I don't drink nor do I smoke or play cards, I dont even own a pack of cards.  He/she is certainly in for a dull time.
