Gday... As Brett Pittman sees it, you don't need to be rich to travel. "We actually spent less money travelling than if we were living at home," he said. "And we weren't skimping." Read their story here Cheers - John

We have been on the road now for 11 months and listen to the ABC most days in country. About 3 months ago, the topic on the radio was "feet", and the Podiatrist offered th...

Heading off real soon for most of the rest of the year so I thought I had better have a practice run making damper as strange enough, I have never made it before. Flour (self raising), water, salt and a bit of butter. It was moist enough, (possibly due to not cooked enough) but so crumbly that it fell to bits...

When I purchased my Jackaroo, secondhand, six years ago it came with a towbar, hitch/ball and brake controller none of which I used until I bought a caravan five months ago. The caravan, loaded, weighs about 2.7T and I have towed it around 4000km over some very rough forest tracks (low range stuff) and...

Hello everyone, My vinyl on the awning is in a rapid self destruction mode. I patched the frayed sections with white Gaffa tape from Bunnings, but more & more is going (mainly fragmenting). I read in "Search" of how to do the replacement, etc. For members who have been down this road and I assume ...

An older man walked into a jewellery store one Friday evening with a beautiful young girl at his side. He told the jeweller he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend. The jeweller looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring and showed it to him. I dont think you understand, the old ma...

Hi. My sprinter 413 2001 model has a heater problem. Does anyone know where the heater coolant control valve is located. Is it on the firewall under the bonnet or ,hopefully not, under the dash. I have had a look under the bonnet. The valve is not obvious there under the bonnet. but it could be hidden rig...

A large, level area behind the Bucca hotel is a great place to stop. Tents, caravans, motor homes. Plenty of room. $5 per person. Pay at the bar. Showers available at $5. No power.

A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping... at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection. The tailgating woman hit the ro...
