During the trip my mate travelling behind me called me up and said every time we went over a bump or dip in the road water was pouring out from under the van. Stopped and had a look ,water was dripping from overflow pipebu...

I am wondering if it is possible to set up a single travelers listings to help the solos along the way to contact each other, I've noticed a few on this forum and I think it would benefit each of them greatly to share email addresses and stay in contact, it can be very daunting on the road alone, if you are o...

I've had friend's since childhood and none of these bludger's will ever leave. I jest, the friend's that I h...

Just received my membership pack from CMCA. Lots of interesting stuff, but, reading their magazine, I've ended up feeling totally inadequate on behalf of my beloved Matilda. She doesn't have any of the mod cons that most people seem to think are absolute necessities - a toilet and shower being hig...

just a thought, what if we were to up load our photos of our recent and current trips, that way all could share in the good times, I am certainly not a techno geek so I tentatively put picassa web album forward as a site to load yours (and mine) photos of our recent trips then the nomads could gain access to...

Does anyone know, from experience, if the dirt road into the Combo Waterhole from the Landsborough Highway is suitable for towing a caravan as I would like to go visit it en-route. I am driving a Pathfinder, towing a 17ft Freedom but don't want to do any rough 'off road' driving, good dirt road no proble...

Have been wondering about this for sometime, finally asking - when towing my van, is it best to have the overdrive on or off? We were wondering how much damage can be caused to an LCD tv when on the road? Do you take the tv off the arm and store it safely lying down. Is it preferable to keep it upright but off the arm and protected? Do you travel with it in you vehicle? Your input is appreciated.
