Air Conditioner heater runs but no cooling or heating

The 240v Dometic model B3200 roof-Top heat pump operates the fan and makes. Noise like the pump starts but no heating or cooling comes from the vents. When switching off the cooling it makes the swoosh sound like before but only blows air. Any tips or ideas on how to trouble shoot? Thanks

I found the step into the Hi-ace very slippery when getting in with wet shoes, so I've glued some of the Rubber Shelf Lining onto it. Works like magic. First lot has now worn out. Will replace it in the next day or so. Cheers, Sheba.
