Hi there, wondering if anyone knows whether all or any the National Park campsites in Tasmania insist on your vehicle/caravan being 'self contained' Trish

I have a Redarc dual battery system fitted to my Ford Ranger ute and from that system I have an anderson plug fitted at the towbar for when I am towing the caravan. My question is, when NOT TOWING the caravan, can I make a lead up with some good quality 6mm twin cable, an anderson plug on one end and connector...

Well hi all, we are camped up at the free camp in Birdsville. Wandering if there are any other Grey Nomads here????????? The town is coming alive at the moment, with all the food vans, merchandise etc setting up. Our first time, so a real eye opener. Bit hot and dusty, but cant expect anything else here.
