Here is our new Skamper Kampers "Dingo" which we took delivery of last week. Setting up the main tent, as in the photo, was a snap. We did take our time to setup the annex but this was done without any great difficulty or profanities .

We are thinking of taking the Great Northern Highway from Broome heading south to cross the Bight on our way home to Sydney. We plan to be in the region in July.
The map shows 180 km of unsealed road between Meekathara and Wiluna which is on the Goldfields Highway.
We would greatly appreciate comments...

Could anyone please let me know if they have had any experience with the "Warrawong on the Darling" caravan park at Wilcannia as we are planning to stay there later this week. A lot of people say Wilcannia is a no-go but surely the park is OK. Thanks await your replies.

After a lot of uphill down hill pushing we got it started and headed home. Thought to myself I'll get one of those Mini Max battery packs about the size of a mobile phone...

A woman from New York was driving through a remote part of Arizona when her car broke down. An American Indian on horseback came along and offered her a ride to a nearby town. She climbed up behind him on the horse and they rode off. The ride was uneventful, except that every few minutes the Indian would l...

Hi All, The van is almost complete. I still have to install the Vast set top box in the cuboard below the TV. My Question is this.1. Is it best to wire it back to the house battery with its own inline Fuse holder. Or 2. Can I cheat and piggy back off the existing wiring from the TV or Radio. Regards Jim

Hello GN friends. At last we are about to take off for a few months, firstly up the Stuart Highway to explore the Kimberleys and home via WA and the Nullarbor. We picked up the caravan on the 9 Dec 2015 and set out for a shakeout trip through Central Victoria. The caravan was made by Van Cruiser at Carrum Downs, near Frankston. The model is known as Interceptor which is just under 19 feet and was somewhat customised to suit our needs. All in all we were happy wit...

Hi All Should the tow ball be a tight fit in the female receiver or should it be able to move. The vertical movement can be reduced or eliminated via the bolt in the tongue, but does nothing to prevent sideways movement. I ask as my Pajero Sport has quite a lot of lateral movement. Thanks Ally
