I can recommend Allan Tomes at Bluewater (just north of Townsville). Contact 0412 720 351. He does work at Jayco Townsville a couple of days a week, the rest in his back yard. He will visit you at additional cost.

Out there no phone, no power, no television and flooded roads and blocked roads with trees down. An experience we don't want again, but our car and van survived, so we were luckier than lot...

I did a "Search" on this subject but could not see any results. Has anyone have a more off-road coupling fitted to their van than the standard on-road unit? Previously both on my camper trailer & Jayco Eagle (O-back) I had the Treg hitch fitted. I'm now kicking myself that I did not remove the coupli...

Hi Grey Nomads, Our campervan is due a service, before our next trip away, and we are thinking a mobile repairer would be more cost effective than the last place we took our van too. It was our first service on a new Campervan and cost us $300!!! Can anyone recommend a mobile service/repairer? Thanks...

Big learning when the distributor tells you the overal length will be 26' don't believe them . Any way onward with a 31 'van. Any ideas of a site or book...

Am parked alongside a nice lake with room for at least a hundred vans. Only a couple or other vans here, both parked 200 meters away. Then in comes a backpacker, 2 blokes in a car and parks very close by in front of my van. I was still able to get my tug in to hook up the van so I said nothing. A few minutes later a w...

Took this photo some years back whilst on holidays going through Victoria. The photos I took after it was at Lakes Entrance but I can't remember exactly where it is or the name of the bridge. It's an old railway bridge. We were driving along the highway, saw a sign and thought let's have a look. Dirt r...
