Connecting extra solar panel

Help how many solar panels can be fed into one regular, i have120wpanel connected to battery in van via regulator. Can I add another panel should it be in parallel or series and then connect to regulator and then battery.

I thought output from one panel 120w was very low so today climbed up to look at panel on van roof and found it was covered with a lot of grime have cleaned and waiting on sunny day to see if any better output. Anyone found similiar problem
