Pete Seeger died in New York yesterday aged 94 . He was a member of The Weavers when they sang the original Goodnight Irene back in the early 1950s . He sang a lot of Bob Dylan stuff and wrote a lot of protest type songs himself . . . . Little Boxes comes to mind .
