Victorian State Govt. have just committed $22 million for SPC....good news.

I still cannot get around my head why Coca Cola Amatil who made a profit of $558 million in 2012 not bail out their subsidiary.

Is it because they feel SPC is a lost cause and is not capable of being turned around in which case the $22 million bail out is a short term fix and these same employees will face unemployment again in a few years time.

Or they knew if they held back the GOVT would step in. Sorta like holding the country to ransom and they get away with it.

That's my bit of ranting for tonight but I wonder sometime about the morality of multi national companies.

I saw on TV he went to see Abbot in Canberra, I wonder if he got some help under the table (like 22 million) on the QT ????

 Bailing out an unprofitable subsidiary would be bad business for the company but good politics for the government.
