Having read many reports about Darwin not being rv friendly what is the closest camp near there ? Have read about the robbie robins reserve are there any others a grey nomad might recommend ? or had a bad experience with ? research research think it will pay off in the long run !!! thanks

Have been looking through travel book and see that there's no free cheap camping between woomera and coober pedy does anyone know of any ? Apart from ribas camp in coober and the cadney homestead further up the stuart . Appreciate any help .

Avoid!! Good: Staff when approached were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Playgrounds and pool were well maintained. Bad: Not enough larger sites for large vans. Three Major roads surround the park and you hear constant road noise and the occasional train blowing their horn. Trees hanging...

This park is well priced, with clean facilities and grounds. A fisher persons paradise. You would need to book in the cooler months, as the regulars book from year to year. Although it is a busy park, it is a lot quieter than the Red Claw trappers at Fairbairn Dam. It is well worth the visit. Darmc

We are currently at the Oasis Outback Caravan Park in Carnarvon, and we fine it one of the best we have stayed in. Much tidier than the Big 4 down the road, prices are best in town,WIFI, and the amenities are really good. We liked it so much, stayed an extra week.
