Caravan Parks on Phillip Island - Recommendations?

Folks, when we buy our first van, its "shakedown" trip will be to Phillip Island.

Now, I'm familiar with it, usually there at least twice a year for the motorbike racing (and sometimes for the V8s). But I've stayed in people's places, so I'm not familiar with the caravan parks there.

So, I've love to hear people's views of the CV parks in and around Cowes and perhaps a bit further out.

Thanks.

Martin

Gday...

I haven't caravanned on Phillip Island - only ever camped at the race track

However, you could research these through www.myparklist.com - and look on the Caravan Parks tab and search by region.

This might help.

Thanks John. I'm hoping that people who've stayed at these places can post their experiences.

I've never camped at the track, but have always marvelled at the creativity of those who have. Like the folks up against the fence between Turn 1 and Southern Loop who tend to have a theme for each year that they're there.

Powlett river is our choice in the area. Plenty of room.
