5 star!!! well in my humble opinion anyways... great service reasonable prices and just out of town... not flash as some but not rundown either... the people who run it are fun and enjoy a chinwag... oh and dogs are welcome just talk to them first! Cheers from the red centre!!

If any gn"s are passing through Coolgardie i suggest you stay at the Coolgardie tourist park which is the one opposite the caltex servo. this is not a reccomendation as such, just the better option. the other c/park called the haven is a run down ramshackle place with quite a few permanents.

For a small fee you can park on the banks of the River Murray. Fire drums are provided, but you have to bring your own wood. There are flushing toilets, but no showers. They charge a little more for power. A small price for a nice spot in SA. It's the heart of the orange growing country.

Stroud on the Bucketts Way going inland to Gloucester has a nice grassed showground. Fee is $17/night for powered site. They open the toilet block when you pay and the meter box. There are some unlocked boxes though. There is one shower in mens and one in ladies. Nice hot water. Camps 6 no 351

Have just been to Dungog NSW in the hUnter region and found as the CP is no longer available they direct you to the showground. Powered site is $19/night unless you are a member of CMCA and then you get $4/night off. (A better price for the facilities available). There is one toilet block with one shower...

We have been staying at this little gem of a caravan park at xmas time and have found it to be a top little park. very clean ,very frendly and also cheap. Cost about $25 per night and includes power. Also they have caravan storage and a good price. The main town ( Bendigo ) is a short 10 drive away.

We stayed in a pleasant freecamp at Kimba, Sept 2011 .. one block (maybe 2? ) north of main street. Spacious ground for up to about 20 rigs, clean toilets, hot showers, donation in the tin fee. Sponsored by local Lions' Club RR
