Just been diagnosed and will need regular blood taken to allow my body to get rid of excess iron. Does any one else have this condition and how do you cope when travelling?

Have just finished the usual round of 3 monthly tests, scans and review and pleased to say, in fact I'm ecstatic. I'm in the clear. Next check up is in 6 months with blood tests only. No pet scans, no ct scans. Just the blood tests then on to my oncologist for a review. Can't ask for anymore than that.

G'day All. It's been a while since it was last asked. Are You OK? For myself, I'm great. On the road again for a while and while there has been a few bouts of minor problems everything seems to be good. My Doc has reviewed my meds and we are both happy with the results. Hoping that you are well too. Cheers.

Ok, I know lots and lots of people suffer with the burning stinging feet caused by Peripheral Neuropathy as I do. I also know that it is a nerve pain so Opioids don't have any effect. But I will ask the dumb question:: Has anybody on this site had any joy at getting some relief from the never ending pain???
