Hi there. Is it normal for the hws to automatically start heating the water everytime i plug into 240v? If so, is it fair to say that theres a water level sensor in the hw tank so as the element doesnt burn out if empty? Most importantly, how if possible can i turn this off without unplugging mains? my Offroad van came with 3 water tanks. The front tank has plastic hose fittings and the back two have brass fittings. Of course the front tank fittings didn't last long and the tank drained on our first trip. I can't find a supplier of brass fittings for van water tanks. Would someone be able to help...
