Have a 'base model' Thetford 3 way fridge in the Jayco. Recently installed a thermometer to monitor the internal fridge temps. Sensor is at a bottom back corner. I have noticed that it seems to run much better on 240 v. Fridge is only partly filled with some drinks for test purposes. Hovers around 8...

how to clean degraded plastic or rubber pieces on side of caravan. (if it were a boat would be gunnale rubbers)
(Preview)
I have noticed that the rubbers are getting fairly degraded on my van I would like to restore as best I can. Replacing myself would be too much for me and I guess it would be expensive to take in to repair shop. Help much appreciated. Cheers Mim

Replacement house battery.
(Preview)
I have one well n truly knackered house battery and need a replacement. Has anyone got any recommendations about brands? The old one was an AMP-TECH (120AH) and appears to be from the original build of the caravan so that would make it between 8 & 9 years old so that may be as good a recommendation as I...

Air Compressor for 80PSI

Hi All, I'm looking for a reliable air compressor that can comfortably top up my motorhome tyres (from say 75PSI) to 80PSI. Lots of 12v compressor advertisements talk about 150PSI and the ability to quickly inflate and deflate 4WD tyres - but they don't offer evidence that they can handle 80PSI wi...
